good old terragen. with some stuff from photoshop. took about two-three days.
made for a "7 reasons for 5 seasons" artpack at Wicked Landscapes, and the season this image depicts is, i guess, summer. rather hot summer as you might notice, when everything almost died out, but seems like a storm is coming to protect the life once again.
